about

This album was recorded with a little help from my friends - mostly Texas Galaxy full band recordings but with some outside assistance too. I could probably talk about these songs forever but they are primarily politically and sociologically driven. There were a lot of things me and the other guys agreed on and argued about and a lot of these things ended up in the songs. I won't go into them here as they are evident in the lyrics (which are probably the best set of lyrics I've written).

Its a more polished sound than "Rise" and less homemade sounding but it still has the rawness that I love. The song we had great hopes for is the title track, and I still think it would've done well if it was released. But that is the industry and given the content of the lyrics its somewhat ironic. "We Are The Crowd", "Stalemates", and "See The Man" continue this theme and should be checked out.

It was recorded with the help of the Gigsmart guys in their studio for some of the drum tracks, and with Liam Rowsome out in Burtec studios in Dalkey - thanks for all those Saturdays Liam. Alan Walsh, ex-Stone Ocean played drums on some tracks and then disappeared to the US, never to be heard from again. Some of the initial recordings were started well before I got to record the guts of it.

Its a big album with a lot to say so I hope you enjoy it and get something out of it.
